Mayor Pete

MEANS PROGRESS

Pete Williams is a longtime resident of Riverside and proudly calls it home with his wife and their three sons.

As Mayor, Pete has made Riverside a place where families can grow and business can thrive. Our city is now on the map as an economic leader and a great place for folks to settle down.

REAL PROGRESS. REAL RESULTS FOR RIVERSIDE

Renewed Private
Investment in Our City

Pete has created an economic environment that invites businesses to invest in our city – without any tax incentives. Since 2020, we saw tens of millions of commercial dollars infused into Riverside from Kroger, Flying Ace, Circle K, and others.

Secured Funding for Our
Infrastructure

We pay state and federal taxes – so we should see returns on our investments. Pete has leveraged state, regional, and federal dollars to fix and improve our city’s infrastructure – including state funding to rebuild the US 35 bridge.

Created a Clear Path Forward
for Riverside

Pete updated the city’s Strategic Plan (at no cost) and Land Use Plan so Riverside is prepared for smart growth. He also established the citizen-led Budget Committee to increase public input and enhance transparency.

Pete Williams brings years of experience to the office, including:

A 15-year career in economic development in our region

Serving on the Boards of Dayton Defense, The Wright-Patterson Community Partnership Initiative, & JobsOhio West

Working extensively in a leadership role with area business leaders and developers on projects big and small

Mayor Pete Williams will continue prioritizing development efforts and working directly with state and regional partners to make our lives better. He’ll keep leveraging the assets, location, and people that make Riverside great.

“I work for Riverside first - and always put Riverside first.”
